The below are answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the 93rd UFI Global Congress in the Kingdom of Bahrain. However, all travelers must always refer to official documents and travel advisories issued by authorities in their home countries, as well as those issued by the authorities of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Travelers should also consult the regulations and guidelines of their respective airline carriers, as well as their own company travel policies.

Yes, the UFI Global Congress is going ahead as planned on the scheduled dates in the Kingdom of Bahrain. No alternative venue is being considered. This provides clarity and assurance to our members, attendees, and hosts. We have the full support of our regional hosts and partners, who are actively and successfully running events in the region.

The Congress is designed as an in-person experience to maximize networking and engagement. While there will be no live stream or dial-in option for the main Congress sessions, all sessions will be recorded. Just like previous years, these recordings will be made available to delegates after the event, allowing you to revisit the content or catch up on anything you may have missed.

We understand that circumstances can change. Therefore, if unforeseen circumstances beyond your control prevent you from attending, UFI will provide a full registration refund.

This refund applies to the Congress ticket only

For your hotel accommodation:
  • If you booked using the Revolugo link on our website: During your booking process, please check the price if it is refundable. If you booked a refundable rate, you need to contact Revolugo directly. More information on our page here.
  • If you booked your hotel independently: You must contact your hotel directly to manage your cancellation and check their specific refund terms.

We advise all delegates to check their own company travel and insurance policies as well as their government’s official travel advisories before making travel arrangements and deciding to attend. Registration will remain open right up until the event.

We continually monitor the global and regional situation in close coordination with our local partners, hosts, and members. A comprehensive risk assessment is being conducted with our host venue, Exhibition World Bahrain, and our local partners. Relevant safety and practical information will be shared directly with all registered delegates ahead of the event.

Yes, all governing body and association meetings will be maintained.

  • General Assembly: This will be an in-person, physical meeting only onsite.
  • Association Committees & Chapter Meetings: These will go ahead, and a dial-in option will be provided for those who cannot attend in person.

Specific details and links will be sent directly to the relevant members 2 to 3 weeks prior to the event.

The complete programme will be announced more details regarding speakers, sessions, and content. We will continually update the website as the full programme is finalized.

The Congress already has strong support from our members in the region and globally. We are preparing a full, comprehensive programme and look forward to gathering our community together in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
