General information

Weather

November is an ideal month to visit Las Vegas with sunshine, clear skies, and light winds.
Daytime high temperatures tend to be around 70-74 F (21-23 C). In the late evening and early morning, minimum temperatures tend to be near 48-52 F (9-11 C).
It's always helpful to pack fall clothes such as long-sleeved tops, a few sweaters, and a light or medium-weight jacket.
Keep in mind that there are specific dress codes for casinos, restaurants, bars and nightclubs and don't forget a good pair of walking shoes.

Currency

The official currency of the United States is the US dollar, which is used throughout Las Vegas.
Most businesses in Las Vegas accept credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. However, it's a good idea to carry cash with you, especially for small purchases like tips and vending machines and in case of any issues with card acceptance.
In the United States, sales tax is added to most purchases, including food, drinks, and souvenirs. The tax rate in Las Vegas is currently 8.38%.
Tipping is a common practice in Las Vegas, and it's customary to tip service workers such as bartenders, servers, and housekeeping staff. A general rule of thumb is to tip around 15-20% of the total bill.
