The Bahraini dinar (BHD) is the official currency of Kingdom of Bahrain and is the second-highest valued currency in the world. The Bahraini Dinar has been pegged to the US dollar since 1980 and the exchange rate has largely remained unchanged at a rate of 1 BD ≈ 2.659 USD.
