- Rachel Chatham is Managing Director of IEG Middle East, the MENA subsidiary of Italian Exhibition Group, one of Europe’s leading exhibition and events groups, with a global portfolio of industry focused events.
Based in the UAE, Rachel oversees IEG’s GCC portfolio of exhibitions, which span the fitness, wellness, lifestyle and horticulture sectors. With more than a decade of experience in exhibition and live event management across the UK and Middle East, she brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, commercial thinking and an entrepreneurial approach to building successful events and communities.
Rachel began her career in events at The Telegraph, where she was part of the team behind the launch of the UK’s first female-focused fitness and wellness event. Following its success, she led the event through a Management Buyout before founding her own company, focused on creating and activating live experiences within the fitness and wellness industry.
She later joined Italian Exhibition Group, bringing her experience as an entrepreneur and event creator into the international exhibition sector and making the move to the GCC. Today, Rachel is passionate about developing events that are commercially successful while delivering genuine value to the industries, businesses and communities they serve.
